This hand-finished print of a hen is made using van Son Rubber-based ink and then finished with ink and watercolour. The paper used is Sunome Senaka 52gsm, which is mostly made from wood pulp.

The gold leaf used is 22.5ct champagne gold from Giusto Manetti Battiloro. This genuine gold metal is beaten incredibly finely to form gossamer-thin sheets for gilding. It is applied using a two-part system by Kolner and then varnished with a semi-gloss, robust lacquer. This genuine rose gold will not tarnish.

Due to the application technique used for the gold leaf this artwork is unique and not part of an edition.

Although the gold leaf is protected with a robust lacquer, it is highly recommended to frame the print. If requested, advice on framing can be provided.

 DELIVERY:

The prints are rolled up in acid-free tissue paper and cotton-backed bubble wrap and then dispatched in a heavy-duty tube. Your order includes an insured and tracked delivery service, which generally takes 3 to 4 weeks from the day you complete your order. If there is likely to be any undue delay to your order, we will attempt to contact you via phone or email.
