This artwork features an original linocut print of fish on mulberry paper mounted onto a bespoke plywood panel using conservation-grade adhesives. This ensures long-term stability while preserving the natural character of the paper. Meticulously gilded by hand using genuine 24ct gold leaf. The gold introduces a rich luminosity to the work, catching and reflecting light so the surface subtly changes as you move around it.
The finished surface is sealed with a UV-protective lacquer, meaning it does not need to be framed. The UVclacquer protects the artwork from fading and environmental exposure while preserving the brilliance of the gold leaf and printed elements.
no need for framing - ready to display
Mounted on its panel, the piece is ready to hang directly on the wall without the need for framing, allowing the natural materials and gilded surface to stand out as part of the presentation.
FREE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING IN A BESPOKE TRANSART PRESENTATION BOX
The artwork is shipped in a bespoke Transart art box designed to provide exceptional protection while remaining lighter and more economical than a traditional custom-built art crate. The box is constructed from one of the highest grades of double-walled cardboard available, making it tough, robust, and specifically designed to withstand the rigours of transport.
The interior is foam-lined so the artwork is protected from all sides and held securely in place, preventing movement during transit. Two-ply liners add further strength and puncture resistance, while 3.6 mm plywood panels placed in both the base and lid reinforce the structure and provide an additional layer of protection.
This carefully engineered packaging ensures the artwork arrives safely while also presenting the piece in a clean, professional and easy-to-open format for the collector.
